MNDC 2012 registration announcement

    MNDC registration will be closed on Wednesday, December 5th 2012 and we will publish the fixed participants in this blog.

     For the teams who already paid the registration fee, please kindly send your registration form via email to asdinpina@ymail.com before Friday, December 7th 2012. This is very important for committee to input data of your team’s member.

    For the teams who already registered but want to walk out from competition please contact Vina 085755660535 or Fahri 085785826189 before Wednesday, December 5th 2012. If the teams walk out after that day, then those teams will be in black list for next year MNDC.

    We highly expect good cooperation with you guys. Thank you very much for your attention.

MNDC 2012 Prepared Motions -- Motion change

We do apologize, there is several changes in prepared motions based on agreement
among Core Adjudicators.

The Motion Which is Changed:

Heading : International

Motion THBT ICC should offer Joseph Kony an amnesty from prosecution Replaced
with TH supports the separation of Kurdish from Syria.

So, here is the full new Prepared Motions :

National
THW impose moratorium on sending migrant workers
THBT individual in developing nation who receive government funding for tertiary
education should be prohibited from migrating
THW acknowledge all religions to be chosen by people in indonesia

International
THBT India government should ban marriage with the same caste
TH welcomes the attempt for reformation in Saudi no matter how slow it is
TH supports the separation of Kurdish from Syria.

Women
THBT women's rights groups should not campaign against abortion
TH support Egypt to revive female genital mutilation
THW subsidize writers to retell fairytales in order to correct gender
stereotypes

Law
THW require children's consent for their parents' divorce
THW give harsher punishment to police who commits crime
THW give 2nd chance for judges who have committed crimes to continue their
career as judge

(REMINDER) 2ND MALANG NEWBIES DEBATE COMPETITION 2012 LATE BIRD !!!

Hello again guys, I want to remind you again about the late bird of the 2nd MNDC
2012 that hold by Malang Debate Union (MDU) will start from October, 29 2012
until the caps is full. So make sure your team are already paid and registered
officially in this 2nd MNDC 2012.

MNDC Detail


The Detail Information about MNDC 2012 are bellow:
1. General : 
2. Participant Eligibility : 
  • Participant is student of state or private university in East Java. No limitation teams for each institution.
  • Team’s name will use name of institution,  NOT use name of organization,  example : UIN A, UIN B, UIN C 
  •  Each team consists of 3 debaters and an N1 adjudicator from same institution, no composite team is allowed. 
  •  Debaters 1st Year Varsity Debating Experience, with requirements:
           1) Student from 1st or 2nd grade
           2) Never joined any debate competition before in national level
           3) For debaters who ever joined regional debate competition (East Java level) in same year of this   
               year MNDC are still allowed to join
  •  N1 adjudicator may from 2nd or 3rd varsity debating experience.
  • All participants must come to Technical Meeting (see competition schedule) .
3. Registration :
  •             Registration payment is devided into two phases : 
                     1) Phase 1 (October 8th-16th 2012)             300.000 idr 
                     2) Phase 2 (October 17th-caps full)              350.000 idr
To account number 1662-01-001219-50-2 BRI Cabang KK UIN MALANG a/n Asdin Herzegovina.
Participant must confirm to this number Vina 085755660535 before and after transfer the money.
Transfer receipt must be kept to do re-registration before Technical Meeting.
  • Participant will be registered in main list after pay the registration fee depend on the phases.
  • Participant must fill the registration form and give it to committee when doing re-registration.
4. Competition Schedule :
  •          Day 1 : Friday, December 7th 2012
               Place    : Universitas Islam Negeri Malang,
                 Humaniora and Culture Building, Home Theater 3rd Floor
                 Jalan Gajayana No 50 Malang
               Time    : 1.00 PM – 6.00 PM
               Events  : Technical meeting, coaching clinic, adjudicator accreditation, debate exhibition.
  •          Day 2 : Saturday, December 8th 2012
                Place    : Universitas Islam Negeri Malang,
                  Humaniora and Culture Building, Home Theater 3rd Floor
                  Jalan Gajayana No 50 Malang
                Time    : 6.30 AM – 7.00 PM
                Events  : Opening ceremony, preliminary round.
  •         Day 3 : Sunday, December 9th 2012
                Place    : Universitas Islam Negeri Malang,
                  Humaniora and Culture Building, Home Theater 3rd Floor
                  Jalan Gajayana No 50 Malang
               Time    : 7.30 AM – 5.45 PM
              Events  : Eliminary round, awards time, closing ceremony
